Dr Ahmad Masri

Dr Ahmad Masri is an experienced Consultant General Surgeon who specialises in minimally invasive and keyhole surgical techniques. His clinical practice focuses on the comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of general surgical conditions, particularly abdominal disorders, gallbladder disease, and abdominal wall hernias. Known for his reassuring and patient-centred approach, Dr Masri prioritises delivering individualised care plans that support swift recovery times and optimal surgical outcomes.

In his daily clinical practice, Dr Masri possesses advanced expertise in laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, bile duct exploration, and the surgical management of gallstones. He offers both keyhole and open procedures for groin hernias, using transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) and totally extraperitoneal (TEP) keyhole methods alongside traditional repairs. His clinical interests also include the repair of belly button and abdominal wall hernias, as well as the routine removal of benign skin lumps and bumps under local or general anaesthetics. Alongside his surgical practice, he actively contributes to surgical education and training in advanced laparoscopic procedures.

Dr Masri earned his medical degree from Charles University in Prague, qualifying in 1990. Following his primary medical education, he underwent structured specialist training in General Surgery, achieving his formal completion of surgical training in 2000.
