Dr Aditi Vedi

Dr Aditi Vedi is a Consultant Paediatric Oncologist and Clinical Trialist dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care for young patients facing complex cancers and blood disorders. Specialising in childhood malignancies, she is committed to improving survival rates and quality of life through advanced diagnostic approaches and personalised therapies. Her practice blends patient-centred clinical care with leading-edge clinical research, ensuring young patients receive access to the most effective and innovative treatment options available.

Dr Vedi possesses extensive expertise in paediatric oncology and paediatric haematology, with specific clinical interests in childhood leukaemia and neuroblastoma. She actively leads and participates in national and international clinical trials evaluating novel targeted agents, early phase cancer therapies, and rapid genomic sequencing technologies. Through her work in precision medicine and whole genome sequencing, Dr Vedi helps tailor treatment regimens to the unique genetic profile of each child's tumour, minimising unnecessary treatment burden while maximising therapeutic efficacy.

Dr Vedi completed her medical education in Australia, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Bachelor of Science in Medicine, and a Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Sydney. She subsequently earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Science, focusing on leukaemia stem cell biology, at the University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar. Her clinical training encompasses specialist fellowships in paediatric haematology, paediatric oncology, stem cell transplantation, and early phase drug development across tertiary centres in Australia and the United Kingdom. Dr Vedi is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
