Dr Adam Thomas Mcgeoch

Dr Adam Mcgeoch is a Consultant Medical Oncologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals diagnosed with cancer. With a clinical approach rooted in compassion and rigorous evidence-based science, he works collaboratively to design tailored management plans for each patient. His dedication to improving outcomes extends to integrating supportive care, ensuring that individuals feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout every stage of their treatment.

Dr Mcgeoch completed his medical training and doctoral research through the MB/PhD programme at the University of Cambridge. During his doctorate at the Medical Research Council Cancer Cell Unit, he conducted detailed scientific research into the molecular biology of DNA replication. He subsequently served as an Academic Clinical Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology, Therapeutics, and Medical Oncology at the University of Cambridge, building a strong foundation in translational medicine and cancer therapeutics.

In his clinical practice, Dr Mcgeoch focuses on thoracic malignancies, including non-small-cell lung cancer, alongside upper gastrointestinal cancers. He possesses specialised knowledge in pharmacological advancements, including molecularly targeted therapies, vascular endothelial growth factor inhibitors, and anti-angiogenic agents. By combining expertise in targeted therapies, chemotherapy, and clinical pharmacology, Dr Mcgeoch ensures patients receive modern, effective, and individualised oncological care.
