Mr Adam Kimble

Mr Adam Kimble is a highly experienced Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon currently serving as the Clinical Service Lead for General Surgery and Urology at the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. Known for his expertise in advanced minimally invasive techniques and modern day-case procedures, he is deeply committed to delivering safe, comfortable, and efficient surgical care. He qualified from Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals Medical Schools at the University of London in 2002 and subsequently completed extensive postgraduate training across the southern coast of the UK and in Australia.

His dedication to advancing surgical science is strongly reflected in his academic and specialist achievements. He conducted clinical research into perioperative medicine following major abdominal surgery, which culminated in the award of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following higher specialist surgical training in the South West, Mr Kimble further refined his expertise by completing a prestigious post-CCT fellowship in laparoscopic rectal surgery at St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.

Beyond his direct clinical and departmental leadership roles, Mr Kimble is a prominent figure within the national surgical community, serving as an active Council Member and the Honorary Treasurer for the British Association of Day Surgery (BADS). His clinical practice encompasses laparoscopic colorectal surgery, transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS), complex abdominal wall reconstruction, hernia repair, and specialised day-case management for pilonidal sinus disease and haemorrhoids.
