Mr Aakash Pai

Mr Aakash Pai is a Consultant Urologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for a wide range of general and complex urological conditions. He is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care, ensuring that individuals receive prompt investigations, clear explanations, and personalised treatment plans tailored to their individual needs. Alongside his clinical work, he serves as a Clinical Governance Lead and has held educational roles as a Royal College Surgical Tutor, contributing actively to surgical education and quality improvement.

In his clinical practice, Mr Pai manages a broad spectrum of urological health concerns affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. His areas of expertise encompass benign prostate enlargement, lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary tract infections, haematuria, and the early diagnosis and management of urological cancers. He holds a specialist interest in complex kidney stone disease and advanced minimally invasive prostate procedures, including Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) and Aquablation therapy. Additionally, he performs diagnostic flexible cystoscopies, flow rate evaluations, urethral dilatations, and surgical procedures for scrotal and penile conditions, such as hydrocele repair, epididymal cyst excision, frenuloplasty, and adult circumcision.

Mr Pai graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Imperial College London in 2008 and 2006, respectively. He subsequently completed foundation and core surgical training within the Oxford Deanery, followed by specialist higher urological training across Surrey, Sussex, and South London. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Urology, FRCS (Urol), and completed an international fellowship recognised by the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the World Congress of Endourology. He also earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Aston University in 2022 and maintains active professional memberships with the Royal College of Surgeons and the British Association of Urological Surgeons.
