I approached the Capsule Clinic due to chronic GI issues (constipation & bloating). I wanted to check whether there was any physical reason for my symptoms and the capsule appealed more than a colonoscopy! From my initial email enquiry I cannot rate the team highly enough. Sarah immediately arranged a call to talk me through my options and what is involved. I live in Lincolnshire and Sarah thought of everything to make my visit to the clinic in Cheshire easy. The initial consultation with Dr Campbell was so relaxed and informative, I felt so looked after from first contact. The Colon Capsule involves all the same bowel clearing preps as a colonoscopy and Sarah actually brought the meds to my hotel and went through everything with me. She stayed in touch throughout the entire experience. The capsule was incredibly easy to swallow. Everything is explained so carefully and nothing is too much trouble for this team. Everyone at the Capsule Clinic is so friendly, caring, experienced and knowledgeable. The technology is incredible. My entire experience was so positive and my results came through quickly. I would recommend The Capsule Clinic to anyone who needs their services, whether they are local or further afield. The team facilitate your visit to make it an enjoyable experience!

In my 60s I have far too much experience of time spent with consultants, but as such I feel pretty qualified to know a good team when I find them. Simon and Sara are in a league of their own. I can honestly say I have never ever come across a more caring and supportive dynamic. From the very first meeting, including a superb cup of tea, they exuded everything you could ask for when you just need support. Professionalism is one word I could use but it doesn’t do them justice, they go way beyond that! They have been by my side every step of the way through some pretty grisly days and without them the journey would have been tricky. In a nut shell I cannot speak highly enough about them, but most of all I owe them my eternal thanks. Bit gushy I know 😂. But true.

Great, speedy, professional service all round from The Capsule Clinic. My interactions with both Simon & his knowledgable PA Sarah were great. Simon is clearly an experienced gastroenterologist and one of, if not the gastroenterologist with the most experience in Capsule Endoscopy specifically in the North West, so it was a no brainer doing the study through him. The procedure itself was very easy, just like swallowing any other capsule/supplement, no issues, passed it the next day. After I received the report which had a couple details I was unsure about and hadn't discussed at the follow up consult, I emailed a couple followup questions over for peace of mind, which Simon responded to the same day. Self-pay price was fair and comparable or slightly better than other prices I'd seen. Would use The Capsule Clinic again if required!
