Hemmen and his team (Livaware) were outstanding in assisting my family member with honor and dignity, whilst also offering an immeasurable level of support to our family as a whole. They went above and beyond in the time which they gave us, as we attempted to navigate the complexities and were a constant support both psychologically and practically, no matter what time of day. We felt great peace of mind knowing that we were being guided by the highest level of expertise. Having Hemmen and his team by our side, enabled us to honor our family member's wish to remain at home, knowing they had the best level of care. It was the best decision and I personally could not recommend them highly enough.

In the most tender and difficult chapter of our lives, Livaware was more than a palliative care provider — they were a blessing. From the moment we brought them on to support our father in his final days, every member of their team treated him with the utmost dignity, compassion, and respect. It was never just about care; it was about comfort, connection, and honouring who he was as a person. Their nurses and carers were consistently gentle, patient, and incredibly intuitive to his needs, even when he could no longer express them himself. They provided not just clinical support, but emotional presence — offering calm reassurance, kind words, and quiet strength that made all the difference. We were especially moved by how they supported us as a family too — answering our questions at all hours, guiding us through the unknown, and holding space for our grief, even before the end came. In many ways, they gave us permission to simply be present with our father, instead of being overwhelmed by logistics and worry. Livaware made it possible for our father to spend his final days at home, surrounded by love, in peace and dignity — and for that, we are deeply grateful. Their work is more than medical care. Hemmen is an incredible nurse with a great understanding of functional health. He has made a genuine and personalised effort, helping me connect the dots between symptoms, lifestyle, and long-term wellness rather than “quick fix” advice. His advice is practical and sustainable. He’s also just a great person to work with. He is super supportive, easy to talk to, and genuinely invested in his clients’ progress. If you're looking for someone who knows their stuff and actually cares, Hemmen is your guy!

Having Hemmen and his team come in and look after my husband for his end of life care was the best decision. He wanted to remain at home and Livaware made this possible and gave my family and I the confidence that he would be receiving the best medical advice and care in the comfort of our home. The knowledge shown by both Hemmen and nurse Sheryl meant that we were kept fully informed of Michael’s deterioration allowing us to ensure those closest to him were there at the end. I cannot thank Hemmen enough nor recommend his services highly enough. An absolute gift in the worst of circumstances.
