Mr Alex Leo immediately set me at ease with his clear and direct explanations alongside a jovial and friendly attitude. He has been absolutely instrumental in helping my complex fistula problem, I could not be more grateful. Everything was done with the utmost care and he always had time for my extensive questions. He is evidently highly skilled and knowledgeable - the personable, honest, and clear communication made my experience even better.

Professor Frampton explained everything thoroughly and in a way easy to understand for someone without medical knowledge. He listened to concerns and reassured throughout the process and answered all my questions promptly and clearly. His care on the day of my procedure was exceptional, both before, during and after, and he also took time to talk to my husband and keep him fully updated on how things had gone. This was especially appreciated as the procedure had been more challenging than anticipated. Following my operation, I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a call at home the next day from Professor Frampton to check on how I was doing and when I had some concerns during my recovery the following week, he called me again late at night for advice and reassurance.

I can't quite describe how delighted I am by my experience with Mr Robert Marshall - I was incredibly nervous about my operation but I needn't have been. He was able to explain to me just before the surgery what the procedure will entail and how many cuts will be made. He also explained I’ll have some side effects which is quite normal. He has met with me twice following the surgery and took very great care of me. I have had a great experience considering I was so scared that I’ll no longer be living with a gall bladder. I have no side effects and my body has adjusted so well.

Barry is just the best - kind, funny - I mean who wants to talk poop with someone you don’t really know and he explains things so you can help yourself to feel better, with long-term solutions as well. After a bad experience at another London hospital after the birth of my son and my bowel stopped working post-c-section Barry is a godsend and has put my mind at rest with the symptoms I’m experiencing. Thank you Barry, in the nicest possible way I hope to not sit in your consulting room again. :)

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. Mr Mukhtar is a great doctor. Amiable, puts you at ease, explains with clarity and I just felt safe with him immediately. His bedside manners are great and he felt very trustworthy.

I was referred to Mr Jenkinson by another surgeon who was unable to assist me because he could not provide the necessary long term follow up. I am very pleased that he did. I have found Mr Jenkinson to be thoroughly professional, candid and realistic. My sleeve surgery in January 2018 went very well and, following his team’s clear advice, I have lost a third of my excess weight in 3 months. I only have one regret which is that I did not seek his advice years ago.
