My experience with Dr Awad has been fantastic. I knew from my consultation that I was in excellent hands as Dr Awad advised me on what was best for me and my body based on what I had asked for and he explained the entire process in great detail. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable, so I had no doubts about my operation at all. He has an incredibly gentle nature and really listens to you as an individual. I couldn’t recommend him enough and I feel so lucky to have been assigned to him as a patient. Samuel George gave me a successful tendon transfer earlier this year. Prior to my operation he made me feel at ease and explained the whole procedure to me in full detail. Post operation his care has been exceptional, any questions or worries have been answered for me. He gives me regular follow up appointments, he checks everything is ok and makes sure he answers any questions I have. He often has staff who are training in his appointments and I have noticed how he explains every single detail to them and again he answers every question for them. He shows care everytime I have an appointment. He has such a friendly personality, he is a credit to the Queen Elizabeth hospital and I would request for him for any further operations needed.
