Mr Veer was extremely personable, empathetic and helpful. His explanation of what was possible, the steps involved and why they were necessary, was very clear. He gave me genuine hope that through a thorough diagnostic process, procedures could be tailored to provide real tangible quality of life benefits, where others have appeared to be a "one size fits all" approach with no real hope of change. Mr Young has an extremely courteous and reassuring manner. He explained the situation and different possibilities very calmly and clearly. His whole demeanor gave me great confidence in his abilities. Consultants can sometimes be condescending, which is not at all the case with Mr Young. The procedure itself went without a hitch. The result is hugely impressive - in a highly visible place (tip of my nose) the repair is unobtrusive just 2 months after the operation, with a great contour. I think that once the redness has faded completely, it will be very hard to spot that anything has happened at all. I would not hesitate both to recommend Mr Young to others and to go back to him if I ever needed a different intervention.
