About Mr Jonas Osher
Mr Jonas Osher is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specialising in surgery of the mouth, face, jaws and neck. He is based at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where he is the clinical lead and he also sees patients privately at The London Bridge Hospital and The Shard.
Mr Osher has degrees in both medicine and dentistry and was awarded a distinction by the University of London. He trained in general surgery, plastic surgery and ear, nose and throat surgery, before completing higher surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in London. In 2014, he was awarded Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons.
He has also completed a number of advanced surgical fellowships in cosmetic facial plastic surgery and facial trauma in leading European centres. He has published a number of journal papers and book chapters in his specialist area.
Mr Osher is passionate about surgery of the face and in particular solving his patient's jaw joint disorders and correcting misshapen jaws. His excellent surgical results are life changing for his patients.
When not working Mr Osher is a keen sportsman competeing in running events and skiing in the winter. He lives in London with his wife and 3 young children.

I recently had Double Jaw Surgery & Genioplasty (on 25th February 2026) with Jonas and coming up to 5 weeks later I couldn't be happier with the experience and aftercare. From my original consultation all the way to my post-op checkup Jonas has been understanding, informative and extremely professional throughout. I did a lot of research into who to go for, and Jonas was consistently recommended as the best in the UK, and whilst I can't speak for other surgeons he met the expectations being set. The Orthodontist that Jonas has been working with also made a fantastic pairing and was equally great during the whole experience. For the surgery itself the planning was well explained, transparent and any questions I had were answered without hesitation. He gave me but more importantly my partner (and family) full confidence for what is quite a scary procedure. Side note: He also extracted my wisdom teeth months prior to the surgery in preperation and this was all done professionally and smoothly.
