Mr Henry Atkinson is a very approachable, professional and extremely competent surgeon. Eight weeks ago, he replaced my 73-year-old arthritic right hip. From my first meeting with him to the last, his friendly, communicative demeaner, and willingness to answer fully all my numerous questions about the procedure, put me at ease and gave me great confidence in his professional abilities and experience. This view was well founded as the operation was a great success and my recovery amazingly speedy. Marks? Definitely an 11 out of 10!

Right from my initial consultation,I felt completely at ease with Mr Davidson. He has a calm,clear and concise manner,and is evidently an expert in his field. The explanations as to how things were to proceed were exactly what was needed as a patient. His work was fantastic,and has made a huge difference to my standard of living,the pain is gone..... it's fabulous.

Always felt confident I was in the safe hands of a consultant knee surgeon with extensive experience of knee replacement surgery. Personable and happy to spend time, pre and post operatively, giving clear explanations and answers to questions which was reassuring.

Mr Malagelada is an open and friendly foot/ankle consultant. He listened carefully to the history of my injury and immediately put me ease with a plan of action to review and resolve the broken phalanx bone. in my foot. Mr Malagelada has a thorough approach to diagnostics and explains procedures and the anatomical processes clearly. He took time to listen to me during each stage of time under his care. Without hesitation, I would recommend Mr Malagelada for any foot injuries which are tricky and complex to resolve.

Dr Emeka Oragui has been excellent in diagnosing, in treatment and in followup. I felt comfortable in expressing my situation everytime we met - be it in the ward or in clinic. Thanks to the Doctor and NHS overall Kind regards Pradeep S.

Miss Arshad has a very friendly and relaxed manner which immediately puts you at ease, she talks with confidence and authority yet puts complicated things across in a way that a layman can understand.

Had a full right hip replacement at age 50 in January 2024 after being diagnosed with AVN of the femoral head a couple years prior. Was told to get on with my life in 2021 and come back when it was bad enough and so I tried to push off as wasn’t keen to go through the hassle or pain . 4 months post op I am very happy with the results and have only positive things to say about Professor Field, his anaesthetist Dr Hussein and Zoe who runs the office super efficiently . Can honestly say pain post op wasn’t bad and didn’t need pain killers within a few days after the op . Was up on crutches same day as the op. Did feel tired and a bit under the weather at times first 3-4 weeks but could do everything bar put a sock on ! Professor Field never rushed me in appointments and always tried to explain everything in details , I would definitely recommend him and his team .

I was fortunate to be under the care of Mr Ahmad after a femoral nailing procedure. On my follow up appointments he has been empathetic and informative about what I could expect during recovery. He has encouraged me to attempt further exercise to improve my mobility, which now means that some of the arthritic pain I also experienced has also improved and I have a much higher level of mobility than expected. Mr Ahmad always put me at my ease with his friendly manner which I appreciated, especially in the early stages of recovery.

He is a very nice doctor. However, your Imaging department is below any expectation. I am still waiting to have the X-ray and MRI done. They have lost the papers and never contacted me. It is all private. Appalling and unprofessional.
