Very happy with care, friendly staff

Towell House is clean and bright and the staff are friendly and helpful.

My experience in Abbeycare was very beneficial to my recovery both with therapeutic input and key worker support. I found all staff members to be very knowledgeable in this field. I felt both safe and secure within Abbeycare. Having reached the end of my three months rehab I feel that with the tools I have learned I will be able to cope better with my recovery.

As a newly approved cater at Curam my experience is limited to the journey so far which has been very in-depth and ghoufough overall. Approval meeting was very friendly and informative and showed me where I may want to make adjustments snd how to do that.

My very elderly aunt moved into Rathmena 6 months ago. I have seen her thrive in that time. I believe this is due to the loving care and attention she receives from all of the staff all of the time.

In 2020, on the recommendation of a friend, I installed a Howz remote monitoring system in the home of my elderly stepmother, who was physically frail though mentally fully alert. I live 35 miles away and couldn't visit every day, and it was helpful to have an unobtrusive way of being alerted to any departures from the normal daily routine. We used the system for almost four years, until my stepmother's final illness in late 2023, and it was a significant factor in enabling her to continue living in the family home as she wished rather than going into a care home. It was good value and I would use it again if the need arose.
