Rathmena House has been upgraded to improve the environment for residents living with us. The home is an airy, calm environment that is conducive to well-being and mood enhancement.
Most rooms are single, however, there are a small number that are shared and are particularly suitable for couples, siblings, for those who enjoy the company of another person or for a single person seeking a larger room.

My very elderly aunt moved into Rathmena 6 months ago. I have seen her thrive in that time. I believe this is due to the loving care and attention she receives from all of the staff all of the time.

My Sister Mary has stayed at Rathmena House on two occasions, the level of care was first class, food was really good and all the Staff treated her with the greatest respect and affection which is not seen sometimes in care homes. Mary is discharged now and going home, but she will miss all the staff and residents who she made friends with during her time there.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care provided by all of the staff at Rathmena House Care Home. The home itself is beautifully decorated and is cleaned to the highest of standards and the gardens are immaculate. The care provided by all staff is of the highest of standards. All staff are courteous and welcoming and go the extra mile to facilitate the needs of the residents and their family. I have the highest of praise for all of the staff of Rathmena for their individualised care and attention and for making Rathmena a safe home from home.
