About Woodlands Care Centre
Woodlands Care Centre, situated in a pleasant residential area in Cambridgeshire, is purpose-built to enable its residents to live happy, fulfilling, and comfortable lives.
The staff care for residents with the same compassion they would when looking after their own families. They provide residential care, residential dementia care, nursing care, nursing dementia care, and end-of-life care.
The three-story residence features light and airy open-plan lounge/diners and spacious en-suite bedrooms. Communal spaces are also available for residents to use and include a cafe and a hair salon. The centre also offers beautifully landscaped gardens, where individuals can relax or enjoy some light gardening in the raised flower beds. The gardens are complete with patios furnished with outdoor furniture.
The nursing team at Woodlands are second to none, and work hard to create a safe and supportive home for the residents. The team get to know each resident as an individual and are able to tailor their care as required. There are a wide range of activities on offer including for those with dementia and those confined to bed. With lots going on residents can decide which activities they would like to participate in, or they can opt for a quieter time in the gardens or other quieter spaces available.
The catering team work hard to create a varied and nutritionally balanced menu, with something for everyone to enjoy. The menu regularly rotates so ensure variety and seasonal produce. The dining area is a great place for residents to socialise, with care taken to create pleasant surroundings.

Woodlands looked after our mother very well over 5 years of changing and complex needs.

I have been an employee for 16 years at the Woodlands. I have been fully supported professionally and in my personal life. I have worked in all 5 units however, working with vulnerable adults living with dementia is my passion, so much so recently got promoted to dementia Ambassador which I am extremely proud of. If I can make a difference to my residents quality of life then I am one happy girl and so are my residents. Each day has different challenges which we meet with a positive attitude. Just care that's all we ask. Rubina Home Manager has been my mentor for years and her door is always open for everyone.

Recieved a very warm welcome ,our patient had a wonderfull greeting and staff came to say welcome home with joy .She was so happy to be home and was so lovely to see friendly warm and caring staff .

I visited Woodlands today and was politely greeted in reception. I regularly visit my mum here and today she was well and quite chatty. It seemed quiet with residents in their rooms. I talked with staff and discussed some of the planned activities for residents over the next few weeks, which I’m hoping my mum will be able to take part in.

Excellent care home.the carers are brilliant.nothing is to much.myfather is looked after very well,never left alone day or night.

Staff are always friendly and smiling my daughter likes the renovation to Wordsworth and it looks lovely and bright. Mum is always clean and seems much more settled.
