Woodlands Care Centre

Woodlands Care Centre, situated in a pleasant residential area in Cambridgeshire, is purpose-built to enable its residents to live happy, fulfilling, and comfortable lives.

The staff care for residents with the same compassion they would when looking after their own families. They provide residential care, residential dementia care, nursing care, nursing dementia care, and end-of-life care.

The three-story residence features light and airy open-plan lounge/diners and spacious en-suite bedrooms. Communal spaces are also available for residents to use and include a cafe and a hair salon. The centre also offers beautifully landscaped gardens, where individuals can relax or enjoy some light gardening in the raised flower beds. The gardens are complete with patios furnished with outdoor furniture.

The nursing team at Woodlands are second to none, and work hard to create a safe and supportive home for the residents. The team get to know each resident as an individual and are able to tailor their care as required. There are a wide range of activities on offer including for those with dementia and those confined to bed. With lots going on residents can decide which activities they would like to participate in, or they can opt for a quieter time in the gardens or other quieter spaces available.

The catering team work hard to create a varied and nutritionally balanced menu, with something for everyone to enjoy. The menu regularly rotates so ensure variety and seasonal produce. The dining area is a great place for residents to socialise, with care taken to create pleasant surroundings.
