Booking an appointment was easy and able to get same/next day slots. Had two appointments, one I got seen early and the second one while late, the communication around this was very good

Been today to see Dr Masud, for my adult daughter. A1 service, extremely lovely Doctor, caring and professional. Following assessment and diagnosis explained everything in detail, from diagnosis, treatment and aftercare. He put my daughter at ease and gave her the reassurance and support she needed. Thank you Dr Masud.. you are a credit to you profession.

Receptionists can sometimes be a little brusque, but otherwise very good overall.

Entering the lady at reception says straight down the corridor to room 6. Door at the end of the corridor says waiting room 3 so I go back and ask and she says yes. Going in, room 6 says do not disturb. But I’m wondering if it’s been left like that by accident. There’s the sound of wind playing but no sign explaining why so I spend a few minutes trying to figure out if it’s wind or a speaker. This could be handled by explaining clearly where to go and what will happen - particularly important to people who are neurodivergent, which is why I’m here. I’m anxious enough without extra cognitive load. She could say “Straight down the corridor into waiting room 3, the doctor is in room 6. If it shows do not disturb then wait and he’ll be with you shortly. There’s a speaker playing wind sounds to try to put you at ease.”

Held Health has been excellent in providing an autism assessment and therapy after my diagnosis. I was very impressed by the efficiency and organisation of the admin team so I was never in doubt when it came to when my appointments were. They answered any questions that I had quickly with great care and consideration.

Josephine who I spoke to on the phone was brilliant, really nice really understanding actually listened to me and advised me what to do. I was seen by Dr Oliver Bernath a neurologist at the hospital who was really nice he observed my son and gave us a diagnosis which actually took a load of weight off me, and gave me good reassurance and advised me for what to do and how my son to recover. I am really thankful for the quick response from the hospital and the staff.
