Indeed, I had many concerns about my oesophagectomy and his dedication saw me through.

You know when you're going to have operation that is goto be painfully. Mr Monk put me at ease through out. It was done so well yes it was painful for just two days with the painkillers they gave me just uncomfortable. He is a such a good surgeon I could walk and drive after week

He was able to explain to me just before the surgery what the procedure will entail and how many cuts will be made. He also explained I’ll have some side effects which is quite normal. He has met with me twice following the surgery and took very great care of me. I have had a great experience considering I was so scared that I’ll no longer be living with a gall bladder.
