I could not recommend Mr Mokawem enough after the treatment and care he has given me for my scoliosis. Every appointment we had, we are always approached with a reassuring and calm manner, and feeling fully informed on our possible options. We were meant to go ahead with surgery, yet after the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting took place, we were told that in my current position, they should not operate until further investigation had taken place. This just shows how incredible this team is, willing to postpone the surgery as something was not quite adding up. However, after thorough investigation, the surgery went ahead. He always left me choice throughout this process, listing all of the benefits and drawbacks of each stage. I was operated on at the RNOH, and almost every day, Mr Mokawem would come and see me. On around day 3, he came in and asked me if I wanted to stand and go for a short walk. I didn’t as this was one of the days I felt the most sore, but after some time chatting with him, he reassured me and supported me to push myself. I could not be more grateful for Mr Mokawem and his team’s care, and would highly recommend him to anyone! He has been hugely reassuring both to me and my parents.

Martin was incredibly professional and friendly. He worked with me to understand where my pain is coming from and propose specific exercises. Over the 5-6 months I developed a better understanding of what I need to change in my workout and implemented his recommendations. He carefully listened to my concerns and was very encouraging throughout. Thanks Martin!

Professional, Dedicated & Knowledgable I have been having treatment at Optimal Spine & Sport Dimensions for several weeks for an injured lower back. Firas has been my specialist throughout my treatment, and I have felt and seen a significant improvement since seeing him. Faris is exceptionally knowledgeable about his field of work and professional and detailed in his treatments. Since being treated by Faris, I have gained much more mobility, and he has significantly reduced the pain I was experiencing. I highly recommend him for spinal and mobility issues as his work is fantastic, his results are impressive, and his approach is tailored to your specific needs.

Mr Bull inspires confidence. He explained the issues and options clearly and like a human being! I felt listened to and able to ask questions. I haven’t yet had the procedure he advised but I believe it is the right course of action at this stage.

I went to Dr Almahdi thinking my back pain was due to spinal stenosis but he examined me unlike other doctors I had seen and thought I may have facet joint pain. He was absolutely right and this led on to spinal nerve blocks to diagnose the matter and then radio frequency ablation. I am truly delighted with the effect. I don’t have lumbar facet joint back pain for the first time in 10 years due to my procedure with Dr Almahdi. I’m so grateful to him. He’s very pleasant and clearly knows what he is doing. Great experience.
