I was having lower back pains to the point that on some days I was not able to move. After physiotherapy sessions I was referred to an orthopaedic surgeon for further investigations. Mr. Panteliadis conducted a preliminary evaluation and put me forward for an MRI. Although the physiotherapist believed that I may have sciatica in the beginning phase, Mr. Panteliadis assured me from the first one encountered that I do not have sciatica. The MRI revealed an extra bone at L5 which Mr. Panteliadis identified as the Bertolotti Syndrom. Although this means that I need to continue doing physio, I am relieved to know that it was not something more serious and happy with the diagnostics, professionalism and the explanation received from Mr. Panteliadis.

I went to see Dr. Panteliadis at his private practice and felt very well taken care of. He was thorough, took time to understand the issue at hand and guided me through all the surgical and non-surgical options. I’d wholeheartedly recommend him if you’re looking for a spinal surgeon in London!

I took my father, who was over from Nigeria for medical attention, to see Mr Pantelliadis. And I must say he was very thorough and respectful in his manner and management.

Can’t thank this man enough. He has a great personality and is highly skilled and knowledgeable in his profession. It’s refreshing to have a surgeon who isn’t always dressed in a white coat and relates to you as just another person. I find this very calming and I was more excited going in for my surgery as opposed to being anxious. 10/10
