What was impressive in the consultation was the time and care in simple language taking me through the "problem" and the solution, and the potential (even if minimal) risks; and in checking that I really did understand what would be involved in the procedure. I therefore left confident in proceeding; and his follow up letter for my GP and insurers set out in detail the full extent of our discussion.

I could not rate Mr Thakur anything other than excellent. He had to deliver some upsetting news to me initially and he did this with such great empathy and care. Everything was explained very clearly to me and any questions I had were always answered. I had surgery with Dr. Kyriakides for a small pro gastric hernia repair. The Dr. Has been extremely professional and reassuring on each visit and before the treatment. The surgery has been excellent and the scar is not even visible such the good job he has done.
