This was the second time being treated for Mr Thomas - each time for completely separate complaints. Exactly like the first time, the care provided was excellent. Each appointment and on the day of surgery, time was taken to explain everything and answer questions that I had. Options were always given to me when possible, and fully explained, and I really felt I was involved in my care throughout. I couldn’t recommend Mr Thomas highly enough.

He is a doctor who gives you great assurance, you feel that he throughly knows his profession and I felt very safe in his hands.

What was impressive in the consultation was the time and care in simple language taking me through the "problem" and the solution, and the potential (even if minimal) risks; and in checking that I really did understand what would be involved in the procedure. I therefore left confident in proceeding; and his follow up letter for my GP and insurers set out in detail the full extent of our discussion.

I could not rate Mr Thakur anything other than excellent. He had to deliver some upsetting news to me initially and he did this with such great empathy and care. Everything was explained very clearly to me and any questions I had were always answered. I feel extremely lucky to have had Mr Thakur as my consultant, I can honestly say I don't think I've ever met a nicer consultant and would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

He was very friendly and approachable and really put me at ease. He visited every day I was in hospital, even on Sunday which was his day off. He always answered emails promptly as well. I would recommend Mr Agrawal to anyone considering Gastric Sleeve surgery. He made the process easy and smooth and I felt very relaxed the whole time. I am so grateful for the amazing care I received.
