I was so nervous coming in as I had no idea what to expect. The first few days were very overwhelming, as it was a brand new experience for me, but all of the staff and other clients made feel very welcome and at ease. I came in here not wanting to be vulnerable or open up, but I quickly threw myself into it with the reassurance from staff and clients that it was the safest place to do so. The group therapy sessions are all so helpful, which also shocked me as I was dreading talking about myself in front of others. My therapist, physciatrist and dietitian have also been amazing, and I would not have been able to come as far as I have without them! The rest of the team are all so lovely, friendly and approachable. I have stayed in 3 rooms while I have been here, and each one has been great. The house keeping staff are lovely, and keep the rooms and building super clean and tidy at all times. Overall I have really enjoyed my time here at Lifeworks, of course it has been very emotional and tough for me personally, but couldn't have asked for a better place to start my recovery journey!

An incredibly supportive environment, staffed by highly competent and caring individuals.

Excellent support staff & Therapists. Daily schedule is constant but manageable. I was expecting more medical involvement & availability. Grounds are well maintained, the housekeeping could use a regular deep clean incorporated into the schedule, & nutrition has room for improvement. It is lovey to be able to walk to the sea, I personally found the ocean to be very therapeutic.

The therapy has been amazing. I have felt as though I was always learning something new.

Receptionists can sometimes be a little brusque, but otherwise very good overall.

Very nice and clean building with friendly helpful staff that makes things a lot better when you aren’t well. My visit was great from start to finish.

I didn’t visit the centre but had remote therapy with Rita Sandhu. Rita was fantastic, professional and taught me a lot of useful techniques. I would highly recommend Rita to anybody seeking therapy.

Just great service

The therapists and ATP program gave me the time, resources and guidance to be able to understand my addiction and build a plan to support my life moving forward. Each therapist has their own approach and skill set which, as a group, truly complements the patients. The program is intense and drives a level of discipline that is required to benefit from 28 days of rehab to be able to communicate and receive so much information on such a complex illness. I will be forever grateful to the people and program and that I had the opportunity to do it.
