I transferred from Bristol to Weston General Hospital for a tendonetomy due to waiting lists and I very am glad I did. From first assessment through to operation/post operation appointments Mr Khan has been very professional, friendly and interested throughout, always making me feel listened to and valued. I have nothing but praise and thanks for a job well done and look forward to pain free times.

My experience of meeting Mr Putnis was fantastic! My first consultation was very thorough and I was told exactly what would happen if I chose surgery. I am now 5 weeks post surgery and all went well. Mr Putnis bedside manner puts you at ease and is very down to earth. Would highly recommend.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with the experience with Mr Karim Kassam. From the very beginning, Mr Kassam was very thorough and explained the process and diagnosis promptly and clearly. The clarity and swift diagnosis was incredibly reassuring making what could have been a stressful experience feel manageable and straightforward. My recovery is coming along very well 1 week post operation and the pain has subsided quite significantly. I am very grateful for the support and care provided by Mr Kassam and his professionalism and supportive approach has made a significant difference and would highly recommend Mr Kassam.

I contacted Ali whilst abroad having dislocated my radius and ruptured ligaments at the elbow. He was able to give me good advice about what I needed to ask for locally, and arranged for an MRI immediately upon my return. He was reassuring throughout the recovery period that the ligaments would rejoin, and realistic about the time that this would take. He reviewed it a couple of times to adapt the brace and ensure that the progress was as expected, and has been happy to spend time in explaining the medical side of the injury and how the recovery would work. Thankfully, everything mended as Ali predicted. Unusually for a consultant, but not for him, Ali has been approachable throughout on Whatsapp and has updated me on the status of the scans as he has had the results rather than waiting for an appointment. I am happy to recommend Ali as a consultant in a similar situation - very competent, communicative, approachable and friendly - a refreshingly different experience from the norm. Thanks Ali.

Top marks for each category were well deserved, delighted with the whole experience from consultation, treatment and follow up, can't fault it.

Following an xray I was treated immediately, it fixed 90% of the problem and relieved the pain. A follow up appointment fixed the remaining minor issue. I was hoping for a miracle and I was very surprised to get one.

Dr Consiglere was an extremely knowledgeable and kind Doctor. I understood all of the way along what was going to be done and the recovery period. I am almost back to having a fully functional pain free shoulder
