Mr Tim Crook is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Hand and Wrist Surgery. He qualified in 2000 from Southampton University, undertaking his Higher Surgical Training in the Wessex region and obtaining Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2009.
Mr Crook has worked with some of the world's leading Upper Limb experts, travelling to Sydney in 2010 to undertake an internationally renowned Hand and Wrist Fellowship for one year. He returned to the UK to commence a Consultant post at Dorset County Hospital in July 2011. He has been working at The Winterbourne Hospital and The Harbour Hospital since 2012.
His Hand and Wrist practice includes the treatment of arthritis including joint replacement, nerve compression syndromes (carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel, Dupuytren's Disease, trigger finger, tennis elbow, lumps and bumps, and complex hand, wrist and elbow trauma. He performs arthroscopic (keyhole) treatment of wrist problems in addition to endoscopic carpal tunnel release.
