Good but car parking atrocious

The Paediatrician DR Bala was brilliant! We had sent over a very detailed description of our daughters issues and he had learned it. Made me feel like he had already done research into her issues rather than usually when you see someone, they are that quick to summarise, you feel they haven't thought about it. My daughter is not great with people she doesn't know, and he was great with her, started off trying to make her feel comfortable before he even started the consultation. Used great tricks to stop her getting upset during examining her. Asked us if we wanted to ask anything else that was not related to our original concern. When we went to the pharmacy after to collect a prescription, we had an issue with the medicine, we called the vessy receptionist, she put us straight through to DR Bala, and he offered to speak to the pharmacy. Amazing experience! And I could not fault anything.

My stay of just 48 hours was made pleasant and comfortable by the excellent caring staff members

Required some time standing in a queue at reception, but the time in the waiting area was very short.

Felt aftercare in ward very rushed andno time to ask nurses what drugs/procedures were for.

Overall my experience with woodthorpe hospital was excellent
