I have now been treated by Mr Haq three times. His expertise is apparent from the outset and I have always had complete confidence and trust in him. He is kind and thoughtful and you know that you are the centre of his attention.

Professor Frampton explained everything thoroughly and in a way easy to understand for someone without medical knowledge. He listened to concerns and reassured throughout the process and answered all my questions promptly and clearly. His care on the day of my procedure was exceptional, both before, during and after, and he also took time to talk to my husband and keep him fully updated on how things had gone. This was especially appreciated as the procedure had been more challenging than anticipated. Following my operation, I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a call at home the next day from Professor Frampton to check on how I was doing and when I had some concerns during my recovery the following week, he called me again late at night for advice and reassurance.

My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.

This was the second time being treated for Mr Thomas - each time for completely separate complaints. Exactly like the first time, the care provided was excellent. Each appointment and on the day of surgery, time was taken to explain everything and answer questions that I had. Options were always given to me when possible, and fully explained, and I really felt I was involved in my care throughout. I couldn’t recommend Mr Thomas highly enough.

He was able to explain to me just before the surgery what the procedure will entail and how many cuts will be made. He also explained I’ll have some side effects which is quite normal. He has met with me twice following the surgery and took very great care of me. I have had a great experience considering I was so scared that I’ll no longer be living with a gall bladder. I have no side effects and my body has adjusted so well.

Mr Drymousis came to see me briefly, before surgery, I had not met him before. He explained what was going to happen. He was reassuring. He was unable to visit me that evening, he returned early Thursday morning to check on me. and assured me all had gone well.

Mr Jayanthi is an excellent listener. He explained everything clearly, answered every question in a professional and easy to understand way and left me feeling very reassured that I was in good hands. He inspired trust and importantly demonstrated a good rapport with his team. Pre-op and post-op care from him was excellent. The outcome of the operation was pain free and trouble free, and my wounds were neat and healed quickly. He is a credit to the profession.

Being a person that was concerned Mr Haque spent time explaining the procedure. The operation was explained by him at the hospital on operation day and Mr Haque came back to see him after the operation. AS a patient I feel so much better and would have had this done sooner if I had known. The type of operation was an open hernia repair. I had a quick recovery for this and was back at work within three weeks . I attended my post op eight weeks later, and was discharged.

Dr jambulingam was very approachable and talked through my recovery with me
