Professor Frampton explained everything thoroughly and in a way easy to understand for someone without medical knowledge. He listened to concerns and reassured throughout the process and answered all my questions promptly and clearly. His care on the day of my procedure was exceptional, both before, during and after, and he also took time to talk to my husband and keep him fully updated on how things had gone. My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.

He was able to explain to me just before the surgery what the procedure will entail and how many cuts will be made. He also explained I’ll have some side effects which is quite normal. He has met with me twice following the surgery and took very great care of me. I have had a great experience considering I was so scared that I’ll no longer be living with a gall bladder. I have no side effects and my body has adjusted so well.

AS a patient I feel so much better and would have had this done sooner if I had known. The type of operation was an open hernia repair.
