Mr Aho understood my concerns and how this impacted on my quality of life. His history taking and examination was exemplary. His explanation of the options to consider were clear and concise. His bedside manner was excellent and his surgical expertise second to none. I breezed through the HoLEP procedure and was back at work after 4 days and in the gym after 5 days. The procedure was not associated with any untoward discomfort. I now have a symptom score of zero, compared to a very high score prior to surgery. Mr. Chitale treated me for prostatitis. He also carried out a rigid cystoscopy as an examination and this resulted in the removal of strictures from the urethra and near the bladder (urethrotomy). He also organised blood tests, flow tests, and other related procedures such as ultrasounds and anaesthesia. Overall, I found him to be friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Both he and his team looked after me well.
