He explained everything clearly, answered every question in a professional and easy to understand way and left me feeling very reassured that I was in good hands. He inspired trust and importantly demonstrated a good rapport with his team. Pre-op and post-op care from him was excellent. The outcome of the operation was pain free and trouble free, and my wounds were neat and healed quickly. He is a credit to the profession.

I highly recommend Prof Mughal as I found him extremely considerate, well mannered, kind and super professional. He operated on me for 11 hours - a complete oesophagectomy and a month later I was able to eat and sleep almost as normal. I could not ask for more. He was able to explain to me just before the surgery what the procedure will entail and how many cuts will be made. He also explained I’ll have some side effects which is quite normal. He has met with me twice following the surgery and took very great care of me. I have had a great experience considering I was so scared that I’ll no longer be living with a gall bladder. I have no side effects and my body has adjusted so well.

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday.
