About Dr Yuan Cheng
Mr Yuan Cheng is a general surgeon who subspecialises in bariatric surgery. He had extensive post fellowship training both in Australia and Europe in bariatric surgery. He also works at Box Hill Hospital as a consultant bariatric surgeon from 2016.
Yuan offers a range of surgical weight loss procedures including primary sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass as well as more complex revision operations. In 2022-23, Yuan has performed over 500 gastric sleeves, with no sleeve leaks, post op bleeding or unexpected admission to ICU.
