I feel incredibly qualified to write this review, having undergone colonoscopies regularly throughout my adult life under the care of numerous specialists. Until I met Mr Eric Daniel, I thought the process was simply routine – book the appointment, complete the preparation, have the procedure, and if the results were clear, be told, “See you in five years.” There was little, if any, follow-up, and often no personal connection. That all changed when my new GP referred me to Mr Daniel. I now consider myself the luckiest person to have crossed paths with such a remarkable doctor. Mr Daniel's professional credentials are nothing short of exceptional, but it’s his personal attributes that truly distinguish him. He is kind, knowledgeable, genuine, compassionate, and incredibly down to earth. He listens. He takes the time to understand who you are not just as a patient, but as a person – every single time you meet with him. In my experience, he brings warmth, humour, and a deeply human touch to every interaction. He has a unique ability to lift your spirits and make you feel that you matter, even when you’re overwhelmed and struggling to find anything positive. He treats you like family, not just another patient. On more than one occasion in his waiting room, I’ve overheard others share similar sentiments – it seems his exceptional care is consistent across the board. After surgery, Mr Daniel followed up in person – something increasingly rare – and took the time to check in, explain the outcomes, and offer advice. Very personable. Explained the procedure clearly. Good follow up post surgery. Happy with results.

A little more detail regarding potential side effects of surgery would have been good as well as estimated recovery time, and suggested time away from work would have been appreciated

Mr Eric Daniel’s had a lovely bedside manner and put my 17 year old son at ease. He explained in detail to my son what to expect and was respectful in letting him as a young man manage his own health and affairs. A very skilled surgeon indeed. One of the best!
