Dr. Willis Lam

Dr. Willis Lam is a highly accomplished Consultant Cardiologist who specialises in advanced cardiovascular imaging. With a patient-centred approach, Dr. Lam is dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiac care, utilising state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques to assess and manage various heart conditions. He is widely recognised for his expertise in non-invasive cardiac imaging, helping patients achieve optimal cardiovascular health through precise diagnosis and tailored management plans.

Dr. Lam completed his primary medical education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, qualifying in 2001. He subsequently undertook basic physician training and specialist cardiology training. To further his expertise, he completed a mini-fellowship in cardiac CT scanning at Johns Hopkins University in 2008, followed by a clinical fellowship in advanced echocardiography at the University of Queensland from 2009 to 2010. He also completed a doctoral research fellowship in cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at Imperial College London between 2014 and 2016. Dr. Lam holds several prestigious international fellowships, including Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Fellowship of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ), Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), Fellowship of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE), and Fellowship of the Society of Cardiovascular MRI (FSCMR).

In his clinical practice, Dr. Lam focuses on the integration of advanced imaging modalities to diagnose complex cardiovascular issues. His extensive experience spans echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography (CT), and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
