About Dr Mark Freilich

Dr Mark Freilich is a Cardiologist with specialist expertise in investigating and managing chest pain, performing coronary angiography, and conducting percutaneous coronary interventions. Dr Freilich was one of the pioneers of performing these procedures via the radial approach in Australia.

Dr Freilich completed his medical degree at Monash University in 1999. He completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at The Alfred Hospital. In 2007, he furthered his training in the USA, undertaking an interventional cardiology fellowship at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Freilich has been practicing at Cabrini Hospital since 2009. He has also been consulting in Pakenham since 2012. He perform procedures at Cabrini & St John of God Berwick Hospital. He holds an honorary public appointment at The Alfred Hospital.
