About Dr Sharon Wilson
Dr Sharon Wilson is an experienced cardiologist and multimodality imaging specialist with expertise in maternity cardiology, inherited cardiac conditions, and advanced cardiac imaging. Originally from Canberra, she completed an honours degree in Genetics before graduating in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2006.
Dr Wilson undertook her cardiology training through the Eastern Network in Sydney before moving to the UK for an advanced imaging fellowship at Addenbrooke's Hospital. She remained in Cambridge for more than five years, gaining extensive experience in specialised areas of cardiology that are less commonly encountered in Australia. During this time, she developed significant expertise in the management of complex cardiovascular conditions, particularly in pregnancy-related heart disease and inherited cardiac disorders affecting both patients and their families.

Have complete faith in Sharon Very professional and down to earth in her explanations
Dr Wilson is very good, but very busy. I'm not prepared to lay the issues of the practice at her door. I will say they are negatively impacting her patient outcomes. Nobody wants to watch another patient vanish into the doctors office for half an hour (especially when it's already 45 minutes past their own designated appointment) and then find themselves rushed out the door in five minutes when it's their turn, simply because they're not aggressively claiming their time.
Dr sharon Wilson listens to me. She explains everything to me in a way I can understand. She provides practical advice and gets to the root of the problem. She treats me in a respectful way and takes me seriously. I trust her.
Dr Wilson is always positive and very easy to talk too. Very reassuring and explains things in an easy to understand way.
At our first appointment Dr Wilson explained my condition in detail it was a lot of information to take in quickly so would recommend taking a second person or something to take notes.
Dr Wilson is a very caring and understanding doctor, always has my best interest and with her expertise is great at explaining my medical results in a way I understand properly.
