Dr Wei Li

Dr Wei Li is a highly dedicated and compassionate Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. In her clinical practice, Dr Li manages a broad spectrum of benign gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). She is highly skilled in performing advanced gynaecological procedures, such as keyhole, vaginal, and open hysterectomies, prolapse surgeries, laparoscopies, and hysteroscopies. On the obstetric side, Dr Li provides exceptional antenatal care for both normal and high-risk pregnancies, managing complications such as gestational diabetes and hypertension. She is deeply devoted to promoting safe birthing practices, helping women achieve normal vaginal births while minimising the risk of perineal tears.

Dr Li completed her Bachelor of Clinical Medicine at China Medical University in 1994. She went on to undertake advanced training in gynaecological oncology and endoscopy, ultimately obtaining her Master of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2001. After relocating to Australia, she continued to advance her clinical career and achieved her qualification as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). She maintains active professional memberships to stay at the forefront of advancements in her field.
