Dr Vivek Shridhar

Dr Vivek Shridhar is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in upper limb, hand, and wrist surgery, as well as general orthopaedic procedures. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering comprehensive care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Shridhar is dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, alleviate pain, and improve their overall quality of life through both non-operative and advanced surgical interventions.

His clinical interests encompass a broad spectrum of orthopaedic treatments, with a particular focus on upper limb conditions. Dr Shridhar routinely manages complex hand and wrist disorders, including basal thumb arthritis, scaphoid nonunions, and wrist pain. He is also highly skilled in treating elbow pain, such as lateral epicondylitis, and performing knee replacements, knee arthroscopy, and hip surgery. By tailoring treatment plans to the unique functional demands of each patient, he ensures optimal recovery and long-term joint health.

Dr Shridhar obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and went on to complete extensive postgraduate training in orthopaedics. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthoA). To further refine his expertise, he completed a prestigious hand and upper limb fellowship in 2014. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Shridhar is actively involved in clinical research and medical education, mentoring the next generation of medical professionals and contributing to peer-reviewed publications on upper limb conditions.
