Sunshine Coast Orthopaedics is a private orthopaedic practice, led by Dr Gerard Bourke, located on Level 4 in the Pulse Building on Eccles Boulevard in Birtinya. With over two decades of expertise, Dr Bourke specialises in management of foot, ankle, and knee disorders, using the latest technology and advanced techniques.

Dr Bourke is a well experienced orthopaedic specialist with specialised interests in diabetic care, sports medicine and degenerative disorders such as osteoarthritis. His expertise also includes the treatment of conditions such as inflammatory and degenerative arthritis, infections, deformities, congenital problems, neuromuscular issues and diabetes-related concerns like pressure ulcers and Charcot deformity, as well as performing minimally invasive procedures and pioneering the use of synthetic ligaments for ankle stabilisation.

Dr Bourke is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has lectured at various International Meetings and actively participated in local surgeon and registrar training.
