Dr Vincent Thijs

Dr Vincent Thijs is a highly accomplished Consultant Neurologist who provides expert care in Heidelberg, Victoria. He serves as a Director of Neurology and Head of Stroke at a major tertiary health service in Melbourne, where he leads clinical teams dedicated to delivering advanced neurological care. With a career defined by clinical excellence and a compassionate approach, Dr Thijs is dedicated to helping patients navigate complex neurological conditions, ensuring they receive personalised and evidence-based treatment pathways.

As a leading specialist in stroke medicine, Dr Thijs has a particular clinical interest in acute stroke treatment, stroke prevention, and stroke in young patients.
