Dr Vasant Shenoy

Associate Professor Vasant Shenoy is a highly accomplished and dedicated Endocrinologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing hormone-related health concerns. With a strong focus on reproductive health, Dr Shenoy specialises in preconception health and the management of fertility-related endocrine issues. His clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premature ovarian failure, thyroid disorders, and diabetes. He is committed to delivering personalised, reassuring, and evidence-based care to support patients on their fertility journeys.

Dr Shenoy completed his medical education at the University of Mumbai, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2000. Following postgraduate training in India, he relocated to Australia in 2006, where he undertook extensive training at various hospitals in Sydney, Brisbane, and Darwin. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2011. To further enhance his expertise, Dr Shenoy completed additional training in obstetric medicine and holds formal qualifications in medical education. He is an active member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), serving on the Advanced Training Committee for Endocrinology and acting as a National Examiner.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Shenoy is deeply involved in medical education and academic leadership. He holds a prominent role as an Associate Professor and serves as a Director of Physician Education, contributing significantly to the training of the next generation of medical professionals.
