Dr Tamara Harris

Dr Tamara Harris is a highly qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive, compassionate care to women at all stages of life. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she specialises in managing a wide range of reproductive health matters. Her clinical expertise spans general obstetric care, pelvic floor surgery, and advanced gynaecological treatments. Dr Harris is dedicated to supporting her patients through every step of their health journey, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.

Dr Harris completed her medical degree at the University of Vienna before relocating to Australia. She undertook her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at several major metropolitan and regional hospitals across New South Wales. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Harris is deeply committed to medical education, serving as a Clinical Lecturer at a prominent university and acting as a Training Supervisor for future specialists in her field.

Throughout her career, Dr Harris has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with particular expertise in colposcopy, the management of abnormal cervical screening tests, and menstrual disorders. She also provides specialised care for ovarian cysts, contraception, urinary incontinence, and the management of perimenopause and menopause. Demonstrating her commitment to global women's health, she has also volunteered on a medical charity mission, performing essential pelvic floor surgeries for women in Nepal.
