Dr. Su Ling Tee

Dr. Su Ling Tee is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist. She specialises in advanced heart failure, cardiac MRI, heart transplantation and echocardiography. Since her interests in cardiology began, Dr. Tee knew she wanted to specialise in heart failure. Throughout her training, she found there was a lack of investment in heart failure management, despite it being an increasingly common condition. She is passionate about improving the management of heart failure, aspiring to improve mortality and reduce hospitalisation in patients.

Dr. Tee obtained her MBBS from Glasgow University in 2008. She received a Certificate from the Australian Medical Council in 2013 and later received a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She is pursuing an additional fellowship in cardiac MRI. In 2017 she was awarded the Allen Kerr Prize for Outstanding Advanced Trainee.

Alongside her outstanding contribution to research in the field, she also lectures at the University of Adelaide. She is dedicated to increasing awareness of heart failure among clinicians, medical students and patients.
