Dr Steven Hatcher

Dr Steven Hatcher is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in lower limb surgery, with a particular focus on disorders of the foot, ankle, and knee. He is dedicated to providing patient-centred care, recognising that every individual's orthopaedic concerns and treatment pathways are unique. Dr Hatcher utilises a range of advanced surgical and non-surgical techniques to help patients regain mobility, manage pain, and recover from debilitating conditions or injuries.

Dr Hatcher completed his medical degree at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in 1995. He began his surgical training in England, becoming a Member of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2000. Following his relocation to Australia in 2001, he undertook specialist orthopaedic training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009. He subsequently completed a further fellowship year of surgical practice and training focused on foot and ankle conditions in Southampton, England, which included visiting several European centres of excellence to collaborate with world-renowned specialists.
