Dr Simone Geere

Dr Simone Geere is a highly skilled and compassionate General Surgeon based in Auchenflower, Australia. With a dedicated focus on providing individualised, patient-centred care, she specialises in breast and endocrine surgery alongside acute general surgery. Dr Geere completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2004. She went on to undertake extensive surgical training, earning her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012. Following this, she completed specialised fellowship training in breast and oncoplastic surgery in Western Australia, followed by a further twelve-month fellowship in breast and endocrine surgery in Queensland. To further enhance her clinical expertise, she has also pursued a Master's in Oncoplastic Surgery through the University of Sydney. Dr Geere is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and serves as a Supervisor of Training, helping to guide the next generation of surgical professionals.

In her clinical practice, Dr Geere provides comprehensive surgical management for a wide range of conditions. Her practice focuses on the specialist treatment of breast cancer and benign breast diseases, utilising advanced oncoplastic surgical techniques to optimise cosmetic results. She also works closely with Plastic Surgeons to offer immediate breast reconstruction when appropriate. Additionally, Dr Geere provides expert surgical care for endocrine disorders, performing procedures such as thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, and adrenalectomy, as well as managing acute general surgical and trauma cases.
