Dr Sarah Matthews

Dr Sarah Matthews is a dedicated General Practitioner and Fertility Doctor who specialises in Reproductive Medicine, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she provides comprehensive care to individuals and couples navigating their fertility journeys. Dr Matthews is committed to delivering reassuring, evidence-based medical support, ensuring her patients feel fully supported and empowered throughout their treatment.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of reproductive health services, with a particular focus on fertility assessments and the management of complex reproductive challenges. Dr Matthews has extensive experience in ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, and in vitro fertilisation. She also provides expert care for patients experiencing recurrent miscarriage and those requiring third-party reproduction. Her holistic approach to patient care is further enhanced by her background in paediatric medicine, allowing her to support families from the very beginning of their parenthood journey.

Dr Matthews completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 1992. Following her graduation, she gained valuable international experience working in healthcare facilities across the United Kingdom, Vietnam, and Thailand. Upon returning to Australia, she completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Driven by her passion for women's health, she undertook further postgraduate training, obtaining a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a Master of Reproductive Medicine, and a Diploma in Child Health.
