Dr Coombe completed her primary medical degree in Queensland in 2009. She then returned to South Australia to complete her specialist training, earning a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery. Following this, she undertook extensive sub-speciality training in breast cancer surgery and reconstruction through prestigious fellowships in Adelaide and London, United Kingdom. To further her expertise, she also completed a Master of Advanced Breast Surgery. Dr Coombe is a full member of Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand.
