Dr Reuben Beer

Dr Reuben Beer is a highly dedicated Consultant Neurologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering personalised treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual. His clinical practice is characterised by a commitment to clinical excellence, empathy, and clear communication, ensuring that patients feel supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Before embarking on his medical career, Dr Beer qualified as a Pharmacist, providing him with a unique and deep understanding of pharmacology that enhances his clinical practice. He went on to complete his postgraduate medical degree at the University of Queensland. Following this, he undertook Specialist Neurology training in southeast Queensland and subsequently completed a prestigious fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and is currently undertaking a PhD focusing on advanced imaging characteristics in multiple sclerosis, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to research and academic advancement.

Dr Beer has a particular clinical interest in neuroimmunology and antibody-mediated neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis. He is also highly experienced in managing general neurological conditions, such as headache and migraine disorders. By combining his extensive clinical training with active research, Dr Beer ensures his patients have access to evidence-based therapies and the latest advancements in neurological care.
