Dr Reetu Gogna

Dr Reetu Gogna is a highly qualified, dual-trained Endocrinologist and Obstetric Medicine Physician. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and holistic care to patients navigating complex endocrine conditions and medical challenges during pregnancy. Dr Gogna adopts a warm, collaborative approach, focusing on patient education and transparent communication to empower individuals through personalised care at every stage of life.

Her clinical expertise spans all aspects of general endocrinology and obstetric medicine. Dr Gogna has a particular interest in diabetes management, including type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes, as well as insulin pump therapy. She is highly skilled in diagnosing and managing thyroid disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), weight management, osteoporosis, and pituitary or adrenal disorders. In her obstetric medicine practice, she provides preconception counselling, antenatal management of pre-existing conditions, and care for pregnancy-related complications such as pre-eclampsia and hyperemesis gravidarum.

Dr Gogna completed her medical degree with academic honours in Queensland before pursuing a Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney to support her commitment to evidence-based healthcare. She undertook specialist training in Endocrinology across major metropolitan hospitals, followed by a dedicated Obstetric Medicine Fellowship. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and holds an Obstetric Medicine Certificate from the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (SOMANZ). Dr Gogna is an active member of several professional bodies, including the Endocrine Society of Australia (ESA), the Australian Diabetes Society (ADS), the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (SOMANZ), the US Endocrine Society, and the Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society (ADIPS).
