Dr Peter Simm

Dr Peter Simm is a highly qualified Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist who has dedicated his career to caring for children and adolescents. He specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of hormone-related conditions in young people, providing compassionate and reassuring care to families. With a focus on supporting children through their developmental journeys, Dr Simm is committed to helping his young patients achieve their optimal health and well-being.

His clinical expertise spans several key areas of paediatric endocrinology. Dr Simm has a particular interest in bone and mineral medicine, growth disorders, and thyroid dysfunction. He is also highly experienced in managing type 1 diabetes, adrenal and pituitary gland disorders, and maturational delay. Dr Simm completed his medical degree with honours at the University of Melbourne, qualifying in 1999. He subsequently undertook extensive specialist training in paediatric endocrinology at a major paediatric hospital in Melbourne, followed by advanced postgraduate training in paediatric bone and mineral disorders at a leading children's hospital in Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and remains actively involved in clinical research to advance the understanding of bone health and body composition in children.
