Dr Shidan Tosif

Dr Shidan Tosif is a General Paediatrician specialising in Travel Medicine at Offspring Health with over 8 years of specialist experience. He completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2006 followed by his paediatric training at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. He is currently completing a PhD at the University of Melbourne and Murdoch Children's Research Institute where he maintains research appointments. He became a Fellow in Paediatric and Child Health of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2014.

Dr Tosif has special interests in travel medicine for children. He has experience administered BCG and other travel vaccines as well as scheduled immunisations. He also offers malaria prophylaxis assessments and general travel advice to support parents in keeping their children healthy when travelling overseas. Dr Tosif also has expertise in general paediatric and developmental conditions in newborns, infants, children and adolescents, including: eczema, asthma, learning difficulties and urinary tract infections.

Dr Tosif uses an holistic approach to health and enjoys working with families to find solutions that best suit their child's needs.
