Dr Pauline Joubert

Dr Pauline Joubert is a highly dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care in women's health. With a reassuring and compassionate approach, she supports women through all stages of their reproductive journeys, from pre-conception planning and fertility assistance to pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care. Dr Joubert is deeply committed to empowering her patients, encouraging open communication to ensure that individual birthing preferences and healthcare goals are fully understood and respected.

In her obstetric practice, Dr Joubert manages a wide range of birthing options and pregnancy scenarios. Her clinical interests include vaginal deliveries, vaginal twin deliveries, and vaginal birth after Caesarean (VBAC). She is also highly skilled in performing external cephalic version (ECV) for breech presentations, instrumental vaginal deliveries, and various forms of Caesarean sections, including "natural" and maternal-assisted Caesarean sections. Additionally, she provides expert care for early pregnancy complications, such as miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. In the field of fertility, she offers personalised services including pre-conception counselling, initial infertility management, fertility preservation such as egg freezing, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), and In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF).

Dr Joubert graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Cape Town in South Africa in 1998. After gaining valuable clinical experience in various hospital departments, she relocated to Australia, where she obtained her Australian Medical Council (AMC) certificate. She completed her specialist training in Queensland and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2011. Dr Joubert is an active Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and has contributed to the medical community as a Senior Clinical Tutor and an Examiner.
